Motor Assistance Program

The Motor Assistance Program (MAP) helps students, faulty, staff and guests of the University who experience motor vehicle problems while parked on campus. This service is free of charge and includes such services as

  • jumpstarts
  • unlocking you vehicles if you keys are locked in
  • providing a container and/or transportation for gasoline if you run out
  • assisting you if you have a flat tire

For assistance, please call the Office of Parking & Transportation (309) 438-8391 office Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or contact the ISU Police Department (309) 438-8631 after 4:30 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday. Only lockouts are available after 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and on the weekends.
