Permit Prices

The use of any posted parking facilities, except metered spaces and pay lots, during regulated hours, requires the purchase and display of an appropriate parking permit.

*The Student Storage lot permits are valid from August 15 through May 15.

**Overnight guests on campus visiting residence hall students must purchase a permit from the Office of Parking and Transportation. Visitors arriving after office hours must purchase temporary parking passes from the ISU police department. There is no overnight parking in any of the garages.

***A complimentary Faculty/Staff permit will be issued to employees with 25 years or more of service at Illinois State University. Letters will be sent to individuals that qualify in the first year of qualification. After the initial letter, the complimentary permit will be issued but no additional letter sent out. The permit renewal form will indicate the 25 year status of the employee.

****Partial refunds are available for permit holders before the expiration date of the permit. Permits that expire on May 15 have no refund available after March 31. Permits that expire on August 15 have no refund available after June 30. You must bring your permit into our office and fill out the proper paperwork for a refund. Refunds are mailed to permit holders who purchased by cash, check or credit card. If payroll deduction was used to make the purchase, it will be stopped at the end of the month in which refund is requested. There is no refund for temporary permits.
