What is Zimride?
Zimride is a simple way to find friends, classmates and coworkers going the same way you are. Combining social networks and route-matching, Zimride makes it easy to share the seats in your car or catch a ride. Zimride is the leading provider of online social rideshare and carpool matching systems in North America.
Is it secure?
Yes, Illinois State Zimride is a private system that requires an Illinois State University email address to access. To help provide information about your potential rideshare partners before sharing the ride, Illinois State Zimride allows users to create social profiles and optionally link your account with Facebook to display mutual friends.
How do I get started?
Just register for an Illinois State Zimride account at zimride.illinoisstate.edu and log in with your ilstu.edu or illinoisstate.edu email. You can also click to Login with Facebook if you are a part of the Illinois State Network on Facebook.
Illinois State Zimride--Let's Roll Together!
The project EV Town Normal has spread to the Illinois State University campus. To support the electric vehicle sustainability movement, the Office of Parking and Transportation has finalized the installation of two electric vehicle charging stations on campus. Accessible to all electric vehicle transients, the first station is centrally located at the Bone Student Center. The second charging station is located in the parking lot adjacent to the Science Laboratory Building.
